Care Commandant

This week I met a very unpleasant person. The only good was it angered me enough to write these two poems. In other news, I have internet once more, so updating will be less tricky. Productivity may go down as I spent my time watching cat videos. I can heartily recommend Cats in Tanks.

Care Commandant

Talks in generic phrases
(He is only one man, after all).
Pausing to sing the praises
Of himself; all else is counted small.

My taxes aren’t meant to help others:
Get back to the daily grind.
The dunce teaching the misunderstood,
The bigot leading the blind.

Your Insatiable Greed

I don’t pay my tax week in, week out,
to pay for the comfort of others.
I won’t foot the bill for junkie scum
or handouts for single mothers.

Prison is nothing but luxury:
The whole thing is a sin and a shame.
This country is going to the dogs,
It’s the queers and the lefties I blame.

I couldn’t agree more, it’s absurd,
Giving money to those in need!
Why feed the hungry, care for the sick
And not serve your insatiable greed?
