Memory Lane

Memory Lane

Turn the pages of this album,
This walk down memory lane,
All smiles and longing looks
that chased away my pain.

Each still frame is a teardrop
That rolls across my cheek
And the smell of you still haunts me
You’re still the path I seek.

The touch of you is kept here,
The way you held my hand
and the language of our kisses
that only we could understand.

Close the pages of this album,
This walk down memory lane,
Put the photographs in boxes
And never look at them again.
